CHEMICRYL 500C

CHEMICRYL 500C is a polyelectrolyte based on acrylic terpolymer. Due to its medium and high molecular weight, it provides excellent results when dispersing inorganic fillers and powder pigments. Its activity does not depend on the pH of the system. CHEMICRYL 500C does not affect the wear resistance of coatings.

Scope and dosage

CHEMICRYL 500C is an excellent disperser of fillers and pigments in aqueous emulsion coatings. The recommended doses of CHEMICRYL 500C for aqueous emulsion coatings are 0.2 to 0.4%.

Physical properties

Transparent colorless liquid with a characteristic odor. Density 1.30 ± 0.05, completely soluble in water.

Recommendations for use

CHEMICRYL 500C is compatible with the most common components of water emulsion coatings used in construction. It is recommended to add the drug at the beginning of the production process. Its liquid form and compatibility ensure easy introduction into the coating composition.

Advantages:

CHEMICRYL 500C has a wide dosage range in which there is no known phenomenon of viscosity inversion. The use of CHEMICRYL 500C provides the following advantages:

  • Reduces the viscosity of the pigment mass
  • Promotes uniform distribution of solid particles
  • Reduces the likelihood of flocculation or settling
  • Improves stability and texture
  • Improves color quality.

General information on storage, safety and transportation

CHEMICRYL 500C does not belong to the category of dangerous goods in transportation. Protect from frost, high temperatures and direct sunlight. Store at room temperature in the original container. Subject to storage conditions, the shelf life is 1 year. Available packing options: 60 and 1000 kg

ECODIS P™ 90

ECODIS™ P 90 provides complete dispersion of fillers and inorganic pigments in systems with high OKP.

Scope and dosage

ECODIS™ P 90 must be present in the system at the pigment and filler dispersion stage, so it should be added before introducing these products into the system. The optimal content is determined by constructing the dependence of the viscosity of the aqueous dispersion of the pigment on the content of the disperser. The content of the disperser corresponding to the minimum viscosity is selected. The content ranges from 0.1 to 0.5% of the total mass of pigments and fillers. It is recommended to disperse pigments and fillers at a pH of 7.5—9.5. In addition to water-dispersion coatings, ECODIS™ P 90 is also used in the preparation of adhesives, including for wallpaper.

Physical properties

Ammonium salt of polyacrylic ether. Blue-green aqueous solution, solids content: 40%, pH 7, density 1.16.

Compatibility: with most fillers, mineral pigments and polymer dispersions.

Recommendations for use

DENSIPOL WO 2402 can be added at the beginning of production, but it is recommended to be administered in two portions. The first at the beginning is somewhere 2/3 of the part and the second before the emulsion 1/3.

Effectiveness:

  • Ready-to-use liquid product, easy to use;
  • Low consumption;
  • High efficiency in dispersing mineral pigments, which saves time on grinding;
  • High stability of finished products, namely — excellent viscosity stability;
  • No foaming when using ECODIS™ P 90

General storage information

ECODIS™ P 90 should be stored in weather-protected conditions at temperatures from 5 to 40 °C. Close the package tightly after use.

Subject to these conditions, use within 12 months from the date of delivery. A slight decrease in pH is possible, which is easily corrected by the addition of a small amount of ammonium hydroxide.

COADIS™ 123K

Synthetic universal disperser for water systems, which provides easy dispersion of fillers and pigments, good storage resistance and improves the water resistance of water-dispersion paintwork. The use of COADISTM 123 K is recommended for matte or glossy paints, plasters and putties and organic pigment mixtures (such as technical carbon dispersion).

Scope and dosage

Due to the hydrophobic properties of COADISTM 123 K, compared with classic acrylic dispersants, significantly improves the water resistance of water-dispersion coatings with a high level of OKP, such as putties, plasters and matte paints. Replacing the classic acrylic disperser with COADISTM 123 K in a washing matte dispersion paint can increase the water resistance to the level of abrasion resistance COADISTM 123 K is recommended for aqueous glossy dispersion paints to increase the gloss level and maintain it.

Physical properties

Amber coal, with possible whitish inclusions that do not affect the performance properties. Solids content 24%, Density: 1.08, pH 11, Brookfield viscosity 4,000 mPa·s

Advantages:

  • liquid, ready-to-use disperser
  • universal disperser, which is widely used — from putties to high-gloss formulations,
  • compatible with a wide range of organic pigments.
  • excellent early water resistance and abrasion resistance with a high level of OKP,
  • excellent gloss level for glossy and semi-gloss dispersion coatings,
  • good dispersion efficiency and aging resistance.

General storage information

COADISTM 123 K should be stored in weather-protected conditions at temperatures between 5° and 40° C. Once opened, the package should be tightly closed immediately after using the product. Subject to the specified storage conditions, the product should be used within 12 months from the date of delivery.
