Dispersions and Latexes

Aqueous polymer dispersions osakryl, synexil, woodmax

Aqueous polymer dispersion is a heterogeneous system in which particles of acrylic, styrene-acrylic, vinyl acetate, butadiene-styrene or other polymers are dispersed in water and stabilized by a system of surfactants, thickeners, and other additives. Water polymer dispersions act as a binder material in paints, varnishes, putties, plasters and waterproofing masses, primers and other construction systems.

Among the producers of aqueous polymer dispersions, one of the leading places in the market of Europe and Ukraine is occupied by the international chemical company Synthos S.A. (http://www.synthosgroup.com) (formerly known as Dwory S.A., from 1945 to 2008) Dispersions for paints and adhesives, which have the trademarks Osakryl®, Synexil®, Woodmax®, are well known to Ukrainian manufacturers and entrepreneurs not only for the high quality of the product, but also for the better economy and cost of the products they produce.

Due to the proximity of Synthos S.A. production facilities (~300 km from the Ukrainian border) — the consumer of dispersions Osakryl, Vinacet, Woodmax has significant savings in the transportation of dispersions, which allows Ukrainian manufacturers of paints, adhesives and other water systems to have significantly lower costs for manufacturing their own products. This explains the success of our customers in the paint and varnish market, where fierce competition reigns.

As practice shows, the price difference is even less than one percent, often leaving the goods of more expensive competitors on the shelves of supermarkets to wait for better times. Manufacturers who neglect better quality and cost variance simply disappear from the market. In order for the buyer to vote his sins for your paint and varnish products, you should know and remember the most successful dispersions produced by Synthos S.A., the list of which is given below:

The above data are of a reference nature. The exact data for each batch is given in the certificate of analysis. The technical parameters of the products can be changed by the manufacturer.

Eco-friendliness. Aqueous dispersions are environmentally friendly products and do not contain alkyl phenol toxylates.

Application:

  • Binder for primers, plasters and decorative-protective paints for interior and exterior work;
  • highly elastic dispersion paints;
  • water-soluble varnishes;
  • water-based paints and coatings, resistant to moisture and wet abrasion;
  • for the production of putties, aggregates, mixtures for grouting joints;
  • cementless plaster masses;
  • production of deep penetrating primers for inorganic materials and surfaces, wood, etc.
  • primer concentrates for construction organizations;
  • for the modification of cements in the construction industry;
  • to modify the rheological properties of paints, plasters and adhesives, increase viscosity and reduce precipitation of pigments and fillers;
  • in the textile industry for applications;
  • to obtain high adhesion to various porous surfaces - cement, cement-limestone materials, etc.;
  • to create water barrier and waterproofing compositions;
  • as components of various adhesives, for example for wood and cardboard;
  • as adhesives ready for use;
  • for gluing packaging containers for dry and bulk products.
  • for gluing window frames, building carpentry elements and structures.
  • for gluing wooden materials, such as glued plywood, chipboard, fiberboard, etc.
  • for gluing high-pressure laminate, which withstands heavy loads, veneer to chipboard and MDF.

Packaging and transportation.

Acid-resistant and isothermal rail tanks, truck tanks, plastic containers or metal barrels with plastic bags inside. Packaging and method of transportation are not regulated by the conditions of transportation of dangerous goods (ADR, RID). Other types of packaging can be used after agreement. The packaging should not be destroyed by the product.

Storage of aqueous dispersions.

Store at a temperature of 5 to 35° C. Barrels should be stored in one tier. When storing styrene-acrylic, acrylic and polyvinyl acetate aqueous dispersions, prolonged exposure to direct sunlight should be avoided.
